Bawku West FA holds players screening exercise


The Bawku west District Football Association on Saturday 1st May, 2021 held a screening exercise at the Zebilla park ahead of the start of the juvenile league.

The teams taking part in this year’s juvenile league were present and were successfully screen by the Bolgatanga Municipal physical dducation coordinator Mr. Peter Abilba

The teams that took part in this exercise were Tanga Unity Stars, Power Stars and Yelwoko Wingers Stars.

Present at the screening was the Upper East Regional Football Association Vice chairman, Mr. Abel Asoogo, Bolgatanaga Municipal Football Association Chairman Mr. Issifu Zida, Upper East juvenile secretary Mr. Nicholas Ayine and Bawku West Juvenile Chairman William Agolisi.

The event was part of preparation ahead of the Upper East Municipal/District Juvenile league commencement

The Teams expected to take part are, Bolga Zone A: Soccer Masters Colts, Yorogo Young Stars Colts, Young Bolga fc, Boison colts, Young Ashford fc, Zuarungu Reformers.

Bolga Zone B: Black Arrows Babies, Bolga All Stars Babies, Real Bolga Madrid Babies and Liberty Stars.

Bongo Zone: Zion Rock, Yasco Future Stars, Boko United fc, All Stars Babies, Namoo Young Catholic Stars, Redeem Fc.

Kassena Nankana zone: Mboma City, Ataye Eleven fc,Kajelo Sports Academy, Nayorku Fc, Mamprugu Fc, Young Afeni Fc.

Bawku West Zone: Power Stars, Tanga Unity Stars, Yelwoko Wingers Stars.

The league is scheduled to kick of this weekends starting from  the 7th, 8th and 9 of May, 2021.
